To the casual observer, the field of pyrotechnics may appear rather mechanical and routine. But for Christopher Csernica, pyrotechnics it is an art form. Christopher Csernica, a component specialist, works at Picatinny Arsenal in its Pyrotechnics Division, which is part of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC).

Contract for popular stabilized binoculars comes to an end
The final pair of M25 stabilized binoculars manufactured under the Army's contract with Fraser Optics Corp. rolled off the assembly line earlier this summer. The M25 contract is managed by Project Manager Soldier Weapons, located at Picatinny Arsenal. Fraser Optics Corp. is based in Warminster, Pennsylvania.
Picatinny personnel participate in Army Ten Miler
Personnel from Picatinny Arsenal were among a total of 35,000 runners and 720 teams from around the globe who went to the nation's capital Oct. 12 to participate in the Army's premiere running event, the annual Army Ten Miler.
